Nikai Fondon ’13, opened the play, "Harlem Renaissance Revisited with a Gospel Flavor" Boston College on October 16. The play, written by Haywood Fennell, Sr. for Boston's Oscar Micheaux Theatre Program, is a cultural education production about the life during the Harlem Renaissance. The show, including Nikai's dance, captured the creative spirit of African Americans during the 1920s and 1930s, not only in Harlem, but in Boston and other areas of the country.
