MathCounts
MathCounts is a nonprofit national math enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement in every U.S. state and territory. MacDuffie students, photographed above at a recent competition at AIC, finished sixth out of 14 schools! Coach and math teacher Alan Brown was thrilled with the results. Congratulations to all on attaining Silver Level status for the second year in a row! Students receive recognition on the MathCounts site (www.mathcounts.org); certificates for their participation, a plaque identifying MacDuffie as a Silver Level MathCounts Club School, and entry into a drawing for a $250 gift card.
