ALUN POLGA RECEIVED TEACHING AWARD

English teacher Alun Polga received the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award 2009 at a dinner on Thursday, May 7, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. Now in its 7th year, the award honors teachers throughout the area for their tremendous commitment and lasting impact on students.
Nearly 900 teachers from Hampden, Franklin and Hampshire Counties have been honored over the past seven years.
