Welcome from the Dean of Students

I feel extraordinarily lucky to be Dean of Students at MacDuffie. The students here have an enthusiasm for and an appreciation of the unique experience of MacDuffie.  It is a school with strong values and an expectation that the students will honor those values.  One of my greatest joys is watching the students develop into mature and accomplished young people with a sense of who they are and where they can take their place in the world.  We encourage our students to work hard both in and out of the classroom, exploring the arts, athletics, student government, joining or starting a club or working on our student publications.  As a parent of a graduate (2003) and an alumna myself ('66), I can personally attest to the outstanding job MacDuffie does in preparing its graduates for whatever challenges the future may hold.
