The MacDuffie Varsity Cross Country team has established itself as one of the stronger fall sports. A member of NEPSAC (New England Prep School Athletic Council) and the smaller CISAC league (Connecticut Independent Schools Athletic Conference), the Mustangs have a rich tradition of sending runners on to the New England Championship meet. The Mustangs take advantage of their spacious surroundings with a home course that takes the runners through the thick pine forest on campus. Practices incorporate whole body workouts and team building cohesion, making a supportive Varsity program for both new and returning athletes.
