The MacDuffie School has a very strong tradition of Boys’ Varsity Soccer. The Mustangs compete in Class D of NEPSAC (New England Prep School Athletic Council), as well as in the smaller CISAC league (Connecticut Independent Schools Athletic Conference). The team has consistently been a competitive team and a top contender in the NEPSAC tournament, with three appearances in four years. In the fall of 2012, they had their strongest season ever with a second place finish in the New England tournament, losing in overtime in the championship game.

The entire MacDuffie Soccer program focuses on three levels of development: individual soccer skills and knowledge, individual fitness and conditioning, and tactical awareness and team cohesion.
