Nearby towns such as Amherst and South Hadley provide accessible entertainment and shopping for students. Additionally, local colleges and universities, such as the 5 college consortium, offer a wealth of both academic and cultural opportunities for students. The school also coordinates trips to various attractions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Museum of Science, Harvard University Campus, MIT Campus, Fenway Park, and various other Boston-area destinations.
The newly renovated student center gives MacDuffie students a space of their own, complete with a multiscreen television and separate seating area to relax and socialize. The students also have 26 acres of beautiful grounds to spend time outside enjoying the beautiful New England weather and scenery.
